The culinary art of charcuterie has long been a part of the food culture in Europe and parts of Asia, and now it’s making a splash in the Boise food scene. But if you’re not familiar with this trend, it’s simply an arrangement of preserved meats, cheeses, and other delicacies like pickles, fruit preserves, olives, nuts or jam. Words simply can’t do it justice though, so it’s best if I just show you with a picture instead:

There is something about a variety of deli-style meats, cheeses, and preserves that satisfies every appetite. Charcuterie boards are taking the food world by storm, and for a great reason. They’re a convenient and delicious way to please guests who like trying a variety of different appetizers. They’re visually appealing and make a great conversation piece at events and wedding receptions alike.

And when it’s time for gift-giving, charcuterie boards make great gifts for friends and family members who love great food, but are hard to shop for. With that in mind, let’s take a look at our local options close to the farm.

Boise Idaho has some great restaurants that offer charcuterie boards as either an appetizer or a full meal option for all to enjoy and share! From the traditional boards to the creative and fun menu themes, we’ve put together a list of our favorite Charcuterie boards in Boise Idaho. Let’s get started!
