Not an event to miss!

Just think of all of the fun you could have. Can’t make it any time soon? No problem! This is an event that takes place the first Thursday of every month! There’s really no reason not to give it a try! It’s definitely an experience worth having. Events usually run from 5 to 9 p.m. The perfect time for you, your friends, and family to go out for a night.

If you are interested in a night full of fun and festivities, check out the website here at the www.boise.org events page. Boise is an organization dedicated to making people’s experience in the city everything they could want it to be. Boise provides these experiences to ensure that everyone and anyone can really experience the city and its surrounding communities just as they would like to.

An evening full of entertainment

With so many businesses in the downtown area participating, you’re sure to find something everyone can enjoy. Boise Art Glass invites you to spend some time in a hands-on class learning how to make your own art glass. Those classes last from 30 minutes to an hour and anyone 8 years old and up may participate.

The Boise Art Museum (BAM) stays open late each First Thursday till 8 PM, and there’s also plenty to eat and drink while you’re downtown too. If you have a sweet tooth, stop by LongDrop Cider Co at 603 S Capital Blvd where they are teaming up with The STIL to serve up samples of ice cream that pair perfectly with fresh, crisp cider.

Anyone looking to support a good cause while they sip a little whiskey on a fine Thursday evening can head over to the Water Bear Bar, where they donate $3 to a different local non-profit each month for every Old Fashioned served up on First Thursday. Cheers to that!

If you have any questions about the event or want to get involved, do not be shy! The Boise organization would be happy to answer any questions you might have. Just get in contact with them through their contact form here https://www.boise.org/footer/contact/
